Hearty and satisfying plant-based burgers made with beans and vegetables. These burgers hold together perfectly and are packed with protein and flavor.
Ingredients
• 2 cans black beans, drained and rinsed
• 1 cup breadcrumbs
• 1/2 cup diced onion
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tsp cumin
• 1 tsp smoked paprika
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking
Instructions
1. Mash the black beans with a bean masher until mostly smooth with some chunks remaining.
2. Add breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, and spices to the food processor and pulse until combined.
3. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties using a burger press.
4. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
5. Cook burgers for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
